I was happy being a white witch, and I’d never had any desire to crack the books on sorcery I’d inherited from my mom. Unfortunately, not everyone has my scruples. The two people I trusted most, my boyfriend and my best friend, tried to steal the books from me. Turns out they’ve also been having an affair.

There’s no way I can just let this go. I’m going to have to do something to make sure that they’re never able to try again. And something to pay them back, too.
