A Mother's Promise by K.D. Alden

I devoured this book in one very long, intense sitting. I laughed, cried, and read the author's notes at the end because I didn't want it to be over lol. This difficult story was told with a deft hand. I highly recommend A Mother's Promise--but a word of warning--make sure you don't have anything else you need to do because you won't want to put the book down.
