Third time lucky
Vince Stevenson of Boomers on Books interviewed me live about my 16 books early on the 29th of April. The link to the YouTube video is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yiw5... if you fancy watching. It was a lot of fun and I recommend that any author accept his invitation to be interviewed for an hour.
It was third time lucky because he tried to interview me two days before but there were technical issues with the first attempt. A loud buzzing noise drowned us out, so we had another bash at it with me swapping to my phone. That second interview went well with several amusing incidents, like Alexa breaking in partway to remind me to phone my mother, followed by my mother phoning me towards the end of the interview. When I declined her call, I could no longer hear Vince.
That second interview went (almost) perfectly, but Vince accidentally deleted the YouTube video when he tried to delete the first video. Are you keeping up?
I could have happily carried on talking to Vince for another hour as he was easy to talk to. I’m enjoying listening to the many videos on YouTube he’s uploaded of his interviews with well over a hundred other authors, especially the Colin Garrow and Ken Stark ones. I’m extremely grateful to Colin Garrow for suggesting me as a possible interview candidate. I’ve suggested a few authors to interview to Vince and I look forward to hearing them speak about their books and experiences as authors if they agree to chat to him.
Vince will be up to ten thousand author interviews soon at the rate he’s going. More power to his voice box and long may he continue to interview.
