Casting Call: Shards of Earth

First of all, and to avoid all doubt, as at the moment of writing this there is no film biz going on with this book! This is just me having fun with a spurious dream casting for some of the characters for the book. Photos are all from imdb. Obviously this is also all just my picks as of today, and tomorrow they might all be different. If you have your own favourites feel free to disagree and propose your own if you like.

Petit-Chocobo this is so exciting!! I still need to read Doors of Eden first, but the Children of time series is such a fav i have no doubt i will love this! Great casting btw, i love when authors do those, it helps me envision the books more clearly ^^

Ryandake just finished the Children of Time/Children of Ruin--utterly fabulous. i don't say that often. wonderful depictions of "alien" species and very super-best is delving into how they think. loved the spiders and octopi. heard mention in Children of Ruin about a corvid society and am so bummed there won't be a book on that--love corvids and the complex societies they live in. but if one can't have everything, it's a very good thing to have the two Tchaikovsky explored so deeply and beautifully.

Abigail I just think that Kate Blanchett should be in there somewhere..IMHO there is always room in life for Kate
