The boss always needs a chief whip. None in the mafia has played this role better than Chhota Shakeel. Associated with Dawood ever since his notoriety began catching eyeballs, Shakeel has proven himself to be hardcore loyalist who can fire bullets for his boss, or even take one; no questions asked.

The split between Dawood and Rajan cleared the path for Shakeel's ascent. Rajan was then a marked man, and survived an assassination attempt in Bangkok before his arrest by Indian authorities finally secured him from the Company's radar.
