Advice. Nov. 7

My co-worker and I were looking up former child stars that we loved watching as a kid and noticed where they are now.

Some became famous and successful in their own endeavors. Some did not.

We were discussing the differences between successful and mediocre paths and why, we think, some child stars are still going strong today.

I told him the advice that I truly believe and live out and the best advice I can give to anyone: Keep your head down and work hard.

It says in Isaiah 30:21: Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

And Ecclesiastes 10:2 says, A wise person chooses the right road; a fool takes the wrong one.

It's too easy to get caught up in the drama and the politics of any business. It's too easy to listen to the critics and the haters. It's too easy to loose yourself as you progress forward in your chosen profession.

But if you can put on those invisible headphones...if you can just listen to the passion of your craft...if you can just keep focused on your purpose and not compare yourself to others...if you can work as hard as you can while accepting setbacks as part of the process....

And keep your head down and work really hard....

Then you can and will embrace a level of success you didn’t even know was possible. Live your Dreams!

If you need prayer, let me know. I would love to pray for you.
