I was watching the movie, Free Guy starring Ryan Reynolds. And there is a scene I want to describe (as I try not to ruin the movie for you!)

There is a scene where the Blue Shirt Guy “levels up” by becoming the good guy and helping others. He stops the violence, assists those in danger, restores peace and recovers stolen items. In doing so, he gains more money, more possessions and advances to a new level of greatness.

I can't help but think that God can and will elevate and advance us in the same way. I believe that what I sow, I will reap. I want to believe that every time I say yes to Jesus, that I am saying yes to his ultimate good plan for me and I am cashing in the reward of my good works.

I like to believe that when I go out of my way to bless others, God will go out of his way to bless me. I wake up every morning fully expecting God’s goodness to rain down over me. I live with hands wide open to receive all good things as I spend my days sowing generosity to others.”
