A Second Proposal

“You-You can’t just walk naked before me!” She hissed.

He held the towel in his hand, not caring. It was worth the widening eyes and brief flicker of desire as she took him in. Age had filled out his body, both in muscles and hair. He was not the same boy that had lain with with his first wife. His body was that of a man, his body thick with muscles, covered in scars and hair.

And her eyes told him just how much she appreciated.

As quick as it appeared, her eyes shuttered closed. She turned away from him and walked out of the tent without a backwards glance.

Frowning, he quickly tied the towel around his waist. Finally, he rushed out of the tent and into the late afternoon light, the sun burning down from right above him.

“Damn.” He scratched his head as he quickly chased after her disappearing head. He rushed passed the brush, reaching out and pulling Elle to a stop. Not caring at the men who milled around the edge of the campground and looking their way, he tugged Elle into his arms.

Her lips sputtered as he leaned down, kissing her hard on the lips, forcing her to bend backwards until she accepted his tongue. When he heard a wolf whistle from nearby, he stopped, but held her within his arms. “I’m going to marry you.” It wasn’t a question.
