We’re only 5 days away from the launch of the next installment of the Haunting Clarisse Series, and I’m so excited. The launch team is full, and all allocated places are gone. We are now in pre-release campaign mode, and all the launch team has received their pre-launch copy of The Charterhouse of Evil.
I did something different on this occasion by spending more time on the plot, character building, and setting. I wanted to draw the reader into the world-building and the relationships with the characters. I think from the first chapter, the storyline and suspense build as we journey through the narrative tension to an ending that's hard to fathom. And like any author who becomes attached to their characters, it was hard to say goodbye, even for a short while.
