A joint statement from Amanda and me

posted by Neil Gaiman

Hullo,

(Amanda is posting this on her blog as well.)
After many years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. While we will no longer be partners in marriage, we will remain in one anothers lives as co-parents committed to raising our wonderful son in a loving and compassionate environment. We deeply appreciate everyone respecting our familys privacy so we can focus on our son as we enter this new chapter in our lives.

Thank you.

message 28: by Ephiny (new)

Ephiny Jones Wishing the best for both yourself and Amanda. I'm sorry you're both having to go through this, but I commend you both for your commitment to your child. I spent nearly a decade working in juvenile court, and I've seen so many adults use children as pawns or just possessions to try and hurt the other person. I wish more would try to co-parent. I hope it is as smooth and peaceful of a process as it can be for you both.
