Beast or Man?

I’m not completely surprised when she asks, “Do you eat in this form, or your beast?”
I stop on the path and turn to face her. She stumbles in the tunnel and falls towards me. Before I can catch her waist, she straightens and leans away from me, her eyes everywhere but toward me.
“Know this, I am the same male whether I stand before you as a man or as a wolf. I can eat in both bodies, I can sleep in both bodies, I can even…” I look down at my crotch.
Her eyes widen as she looks up at me in shock.
I smirk, finishing the sentence, “I can even piss in both bodies.”
“Ugh,” she growls, rolling her eyes.
“You thought I was going to say f***, didn’t you, little elf girl?” I ask, taking a step closer to her, our toes almost touching as I lean down. She comes to just under my nose. The perfect height.
Her eyes sparkle as she sneers up at me. “Isn’t that all your beast thinks about?” she retorts. “F***ing and fighting?”
Testing her, I reach a hand out and gently push her hair over her shoulder, my finger tracing the rough edges of the scarring along the side of her face. Her body, her very soul stills at the touch. I continue, my hand cupping her jaw, my fingers spearing into her hair. She watches me, yet I can see nothing in her gaze, like blank slates.
“You are forgetting. I am neither man nor beast. I am Hans. And it’s I who likes f***ing and fighting. Not my beastly body nor my man’s body.” I dig my fingers lightly into her scalp, relishing the shiver that runs down her neck as her body loosens, falling towards mine.
For a moment I consider throwing her against the wall, biting her neck, cementing the bond that the goddess has placed the threads inside her and I.
A small whimper falls from her lips.
And in that instant, I know. This female, she is mine…
