Conscious Healing Through Self Responsibility
Conscious healing transpires when we stay in the powerful present moment and remove all fear from our hearts and minds. It is a process of direct action with faith. It occurs when you are in the driver’s seat. You recognize that no one outside of you can truly heal you. Whether it is emotional, physical or spiritual health components being addressed, it is your own effort with faith that makes the transition from dis-ease into a rebirth to wholeness.
When we live consciously with clarity and discerning intention, we feel most vibrant and give off a radiant health. In my own life, I have observed that times of dis-ease arose when I was slipping away from my personal clarity and path. Stay in your knowing of who you are and your life’s purpose. Working on your personal goals, dreams and inspirations is an incredible healing force.
There was a time when interpersonal relationships within families and circles of friends were strong. Through new views on conforming to specific political beliefs, many people have begun to walk away from relationships that were centerpieces in their lives. We do not have to let politics come between people. This is where the healing practice of compassionate understanding comes into play- both for oneself and others. No one knows the truth in any given situation outside of themselves. Thus, it is best we drop all political division and turn to a healing unity.

Nurturing Relationship-building: Conscious Healing Through Loving Care of Close Friends, Family and Lovers
Conscious Healing Through Relating
Friends, family, lovers and relationships of deep and intimate trust are great resources for the healing journey. There is a special confidence and a knowing between you that your healing is not just a business for them. Furthermore, as people who care about you, they are sincere. Whereas in relationships where money and business is involved, it can be challenging to know whom to trust. Discernment is key.
In healthy relationships there is a constant nurturing of intimate details of the others’ life. They know you very well and continue to know you deeper. They are best suited to mirror back to you a course of action for your healing based on who you are versus a standard program fit for all. You can trust their intentions and goodwill towards you. Thus, nurturing your intimate relationships from childhood friends to family and even previous loves, is invaluable.
Applying nurturing and caring concepts to new relationships will ensure that your life is filled with care and healing love. I have personally made many deep and caring connections with others in the health and healing field. This has nurtured both my work and my understanding of the integrity of so many health practitioners. There is always support. With discernment you can always connect with the appropriate healing force within and all around you.
Choosing Support for Conscious Healing
There is support for your health and healing. You do not have to go it alone. It is important to first get a deep feel for who the practitioner or doctor is and their level of caring. How deep can they go with you? Remember past times of pen pals? Consider if they could be a good heart-felt pen pal? If not, they most likely do not have the patience, time or deep interest in your specific needs and story.
As a holistic health practitioner, I do work with other practitioners. I enjoy collaboration. What I do to see if we are a good fit is I begin to share at a personal level in email. If they are able to continue the exchange without judgment or lack of caring, then I know we can create something together. That means that as a unit we can begin to hold space for others in our joint-collaboration of healing projects.
Healing with Your Medical Doctor
Medical doctors are a wonderful asset in the healing process; especially when they are interested in concepts of mind, body and spirit healing. Understanding the power of the mind in healing is not to be underrated. That combined with their amazing diagnostic tools can be an incredible resource for your healing journey.
Doctors who understand and adhere to the Hippocrates’s Oath are aware of the importance of intention in healing. This particular section, I find to be very essential:
“as to diseases, practice two: help or do not harm”—primum, non nocere (or, “first, do no harm”) -Hippocrates
What is often forgotten is that this applies just as much to the doctor or healer as it does to the patient or client. The patient must, in every aspect of their being and life, adhere to this concept. Self-responsibility combined with creating, and maintaining a conscious life for healing, can bring about amazing results.

Conscious Healing is Balancing a Healed Heart with a Healthy Mind
Connecting the Heart and Mind for Healing
When the heart and mind are connected, we can summon forth amazing healing results. When working with a doctor or holistic health practitioner, it is very important to have the same approach towards healing in the mind. You must both hold a mental vision of the healing outcome.
Conscious healing involves removing fear from the mind. This means both minds- your mind and your doctor or practitioner’s mind. Where there is fear, it is very difficult to have the presence of hope, trust and a vision of health.
Having a feeling that your health provider sincerely cares for you is very important. That combined with their proper training, wisdom, experience and calm focus of the mind, creates a heart and mind connection for healing.

Conscious Healing Manifests Through Our Consciousness
Conscious Mindset with Conscious Practices
The guided practices that you consciously choose and consistently embody will be important for your healing journey. Below are some things to consider:
Are my relationships healthy? If yes, how can I deepend and continue to nurture them?If no, is there a way to heal the relationship(s)? If the relationship(s) is not healthy or nurturing for me, do I need to take a break to re-evaluate it or is it time to let go of the relationship(s)?Is my relationship with myself healthy? How do I feel about myself when I look in the mirror? What kinds of thoughts do I have about myself? Is there a lot of negative mind chatter?Choosing nurturing and loving thoughts about oneself is essential for health and outer relationships. My environmentAm I surrounded by things and people that feel good and supportive? How is my home? Is it a healthy environment? How is my diet? Have I found a nutrient-dense nutritional program that works for my specific needs? How is my lifestyle? Is it balanced with work, health, family and other relationships? Is movement and spirituality a part of my life? Here are some suggestions for increasing more spiritually-minded practices into your life:
Stillness through contemplative, meditative timeBeing in nature where there are no distractions and where you can be one with SourceDeveloping meditation practices to still, calm and silence the mindMovement is important to release excess energy as well as to build energyDo you prefer to practice spiritually-minded practices privately or in a group setting or both?
While these lists could go on and on, the summary is that getting to know your Self will guide you to the proper practices for your life’s purpose and specific healing journey. Everyone is at a different place in their lives. We have all had very different and unique experiences in our lives. Thus, go within, discern and decide what will be best for your Soul.
Inner and Outer Environment is key in life. Conscious healing is a holistic- mind, body and spiritual healing. There is an awareness that everything is connected from the mind to the spirit to the body.
Conscious Healing is You
The best healer for you is you. A healer, guide or teacher outside of yourself will present a standard format not based on who you are. If you have gotten to know them and feel confident in their work, then simply know that they are space holders. Without you and your Soul’s direct trust, efforts and surrender, no work can be done.
Trust yourself in the process and know that healing is transformation when approached with consciousness. Self-responsibility, contemplation and practices to still the mind and heal the heart are very beneficial. Be grateful for the true healers that you do meet. They will be an empowering and kind presence in your life.
Nothing is out of reach in life. Conscious healing can be done by you and through you. Keep the light of hope and faith in your heart and trust that your life has a purpose. Come home to your heart and Soul. There is where you are always whole.
