I was working 6 days a week for months. And it was brutal! I was physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted. And I prayed that God would provide me rest, hoping for much needed time off. Maybe my employers can relax the schedule a bit or approve some days off.

Even though I was working extra shifts and overtime hours, God showed up in my situation and He was able to give me rest… while I was still working. God provided me with daily strength and daily energy. The shifts I worked seemed to require less stress and there were plenty of times when I was able to relax and breathe even while on the clock. God gave me the grace and patience for each new day.

God can and will answer your prayers. He will show up for you. He may not answer prayers in the way you were expecting, but He will be with you and surround you with his loving care and personalized attention. I am happy God knows what's best for me and I know I can trust Him with everything I need!
