My most recent book, The Third Age, tells the story of Ruarc and Connor’s relationship, which is part of the backstory of the Pact Arcanum series. But the characters of PA have not yet been introduced in the story timeline. This leads to a huge gap between Third Age and the forthcoming book The Fourth Age, which takes place after Pact Arcanum.

So, I have decided there needs to be a bridge story that introduces the relationship between Ruarc and Nick, as detailed in Pact Arcanum. Thus, The Third Age will be getting a couple of sequels before The Fourth Age comes out. These books will borrow heavily from the events described in Sunrise (Pact Arcanum book 2), so be prepared for a LOT of Déjà vu. Sorry: unavoidable if I want to introduce key characters without expecting readers to pick up the whole PA series (unless you want to, of course…).

My cover artist doesn’t have me penciled in until mid-March to work on the final covers, but the text should be ready to go by then, so keep an eye out if you’re reading along.
