I always walk on the sunny side of the street. Not because I'm a cockeyed optimist. I just crave sunshine. It’s very hard for me to stay inside and write on a sunny day (not that it’s all that easy for me to write on cloudy ones). Maybe it’s from being born in southern California. Or it could be a Vitamin D deficiency.

I got very spoiled by the early, beautiful spring weather this year and was not at all prepared for the string of dreary, grey days.

But now the sun is back, and everything seems better after a run on warm, sunny day. Especially with tunes playing on my iPod. Though I must admit I have a 12-year-old girl's taste in music. I like bright, energetic songs to motivate me. So, yes I confess to downloading Katy Perry and Owl City. What music do you listen to when you want to charge your battery?
