Going Into Labor With Prayer...Because you are Giving Birth to a Miracle.

If you are a woman and mother who has given birth to your precious child, you are well acquainted with what I am comparing this encouraging blog to.

I think all of us as Christ believers, and his faithful followers know there is a big difference between a simple prayer and laboring in prayer. A prayer of grace is not the same as when we labor in prayer.

In the Old Testament days when a woman was about to give birth, she would crouch down, put her head between her knees and someone would cry, PUSH! It was hard and took a lot of effort.

That's what we have to do when we are laboring in prayer. We have to get along, in a private setting, and go into labor with our prayer.

You say, why do I have to do all that? Because you're getting ready to give birth to a MIRACLE.

Are you one out there needing a miracle? Are you in sorrow from the passing of a loved one?

Then you know what it's like to labor in prayer. You know what it's like to ask the Lord for help in so many avenues of your life.

James 5:16 concludes with; The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Did you know that God has already answered your prayer? He's just waiting for you to pray earnestly for his will. Did you know that God loves His children and has nothing but good for you? He tells us this in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. plans to prosper you and not harm you plans to give you a hope and a future."

Friends, I have seen miracles before and my recently deceased husband was part of those. Toward the end of his days on this earth, he was found asking. " Why does God choose to heal some and not others?' He watched over and over the movie," The Chosen" loving the part where Jesus was asked by the man with leprosy to be healed. Jesus chose to heal him because that was in His will. God's will for my husband was: "Come home my child."

I don't know about you my friends, but I want to labor in my prayers, I want to know the perfect will of my Lord and Savior. Saying grace before I eat a meal is being thankful, but needing God's perfect will in one's life is going to take laboring in prayer.

Why do we have to do that? Because we are getting ready to receive a MIRACLE!.

If you are a child of the Risen Savior by belief and trust in the forgiveness of your sins on Calvary, you can have these powerful results for your prayers. Just remember, for God's perfect will we must labor in prayer because you are giving birth to a MIRACLE!

Frank Kohl Great comparison.

Sarah Tyler I felt it was a great way of comparing " just prayers" and " laboring in prayer" which we. who have prayed with great earnestness can fully understand. Thank you, Frank Kohl
