Pridelord releases on Thursday! Of course, I wouldn’t want to show off the interior art early, but… maybe it’s time for a little game of Who’s That Gryphon?

The first interior art piece showcases one of the more unusual denizens of the Emerald Jungle. Known for their sharp beak and swooshy tail, they first appeared in The Crackling Sea, where they dampened the threshold to Nighteyes’ home. Go on, take your best guess. Who’s that gryphon?

I think it's adorable that the young stormtails are called floodlings.

Does the paperback also release on Thursday? If so, I can't wait to get it!!

Good guess!

Amazon will have their paperbacks ready to go, but for other stores, they might lag a few days behind. Chapter 59 had the wrong header, so there was a delay getting the proofs. They may still be ready to go on August 1st, but when it's this close to release day, sometimes it takes a couple of days for all stores to have their copies available.

cockatiel forger Is the second one the Blackwing Reeve? The one with the avian foretalons
