Now that 4000s by 40 is out, I'm looking to start the next project, and I'll be heading to the mountains quite a bit in the next few months to find inspiration and organize my thoughts. At present, I have 3 titles in mind that I want to pursue (2 novels and 1 memoir), and I always find that a long climb brings clarity to the creative process.

I like to reflect on where I'm at as I build a book, and will be sharing on this site, as well as my personal website, aspects of the writing process. I'll also be sharing the climbs that help bring my ideas to paper. For me, nature is the most powerful source of energy for generating ideas, and whenever I hit a mental block or need to tease out an idea, there's no better remedy than a good climb.
