I will probably ruffle some feathers on this one, and it is not my intention. It's just my thought will not come out on paper like I have it in my head. So take no offense, but I am sure some will.

It is close to 2 AM...I'm sick, we are all sick. Each in various stages...I am least, for now and am awake only while I am drinking fluids. Man, I am craving an orange Gatorade right now.

So I am really doing nothing to pass the time while I am drinking my Coke, other than random web stuff. I was going through my feed and noticed a lot of copy cat books...vampires, werewolves and songbirds and the like.

If you know me, I don't write to make money. I'll let everyone stop laughing at that before I pickup...maybe it's the fever talking. OK.

I write because I enjoy writing and I have a story to tell. I stated somewhere I want to write in the old (classic) style but with a new twist...something like that, don't feel like finding my own quote at the moment.

It would be nice to see original "stuff". So here I am not daunting the vampire and werewolf books...I actually have not read them...I just hope they have better, original endings.

I am not judging myself either, as long as I continue writing, I'll have my own share of vampire and werewolf books, but I can guarantee they will not be cliche or similar.

Oddly enough, I am a Werewolf fan...I grew up as a child reading Wolfman comics...and climbing trees pretending I was the Wolfman. The 70s was of course a different era that unless you lived it you won't fully grasp that statement.

But alas, I have mostly vampire dreams, I can't tell when I've had last a Werewolf dream, but just two nights ago I had a vampire dream again.

Now I am off on a tangent. It's the fever. I guess maybe what I am trying to say is I hope the books are based on books...and not the movie.
