The Echo of Stars

Echo of StarsPhoto by Min An on Pexels

Hatched in wreckage of generation,

demolished pieces, sparks of kindle,

prevailing only to burn,

assembled ash.

Ogling expanse,

domains staring reverse,

everlasting looking glass of mortality.

Luminaries, close to termination,

blink in duration, fleeting breaths.

Moonlight ghoul harrows

frozen, idle space,

undertone of past,

sunlight claws through concealment,

absent, swallowed time.

Colossal mesh of broken branches,

spreading, reaching, consuming.

Strands in tangled total,

cycle unbroken, endlessly displaced.

Juncture bend and fold,

untruly disappearing,

what is eternity?

Words, aspirations, fleeting will,

caught between hands,

human apprehension.

Earth cracks,

suns blast fervid surrender,

galaxies twist and die,

birthing unknown.

What of us?

Stardust,

Nonentity and reflection globe

apathetic to comprehend consultation,

limits,

measure.

Substance of heavenly,

cosmos’ grand conception,

clinging illusion control.
