SONGS OF THE STAG: an annotated playlist 🎵🦌

Music plays such an important role in my writing process, and nothing quite beats writer’s block like sticking my headphones on and going for a walk with my playlist cranked at full volume. The main playlist I use for working on the SotS duology is over 10 hours long and growing every month, but I’ve selected a handful of songs that for me, truly embody the characters, themes, and narrative of Song of the Stag.

The playlist can be found at the link in my bio and the songs are sorted in chronological order of the story. Over the next couple of months, every day (or so) I’ll be sharing 1 song from the playlist alongside my notes about why it resonates with me and the novel.

This playlsit is where Taylor Swift, Tide Lines, and the Arcane Soundtrack collide. It’s truly chaotic 💃
