I just got a text from our younger daughter, reading: “Happy Anniversary, you little cuties! Hope you’re celebrating 8 million years being weird together in some lovely way. Love you!”

The key to a successful marriage, as Jamie and Claire can attest, is to spend most of your time racing around Scotland and North America rescuing each other from peril. It’s a tad exhausting but yields great future stories for your grandchildren.But Mazel Tov to you both!
