Broken 

I fell in love with you and gave my heart as a token, 

Even though I knew that you were broken.

You drove away friends, estranged from everyone.

 I stayed, because being with you was fun.

People warned me, but I ignored their view; 

I was sure that my love would make you new.

It took a while, and now the time has spoken,

You remain the same, but now I am broken.
