The Lords of Silence was published back in 2018, which is rather appropriate, given the significance of the number 7 to the followers of Nurgle. As if to mark that milestone, BL has just released a special edition of the novel, featuring beautiful artwork by Chris Campbell. It also features notes from me, discussing the various choices made while writing, musing on the nature of the Death Guard, and offering some thoughts on how things have developed since the original was released. I had a lot of fun going back to the book and reminding myself how it all came together. Copies are available now from Games Workshop, if you fancy returning to the grim world of Imperium Nihilus.

In other news, a few of you may have spotted that a brand new series is being launched by BL – the Scouring. The first book is written by me, and will be released later this year. It’s been hugely exciting working on this over the past couple of years, and I’m excited to see the first instalment edge closer to release. It’s a very big book, which is appropriate as it’s covering some very important events in 40K history. Look out for this going on sale in the Autumn.
