Writing a book description that sells your book.

I am doing an experiment to see how well a book description is doing. I had someone else write the blurb. I am curious to see how well this new blurb works.

The person who wrote the book description did some things that I wouldn't have thought of doing, but that sounded interesting to me. The first sentence really captured the book, and the fact that she put the word "important" in front of it seemed unusual to me, but I bet it will make it stand out in the mind of potential readers.

I am also planning to change the cover, but I thought that I would first test out the blurb, and then later test out a new cover.

Here is the link to see the blurb and also to get a copy.
