My latest WIP, the Beckoning of Beautiful Things, is nearly done. It will be sent to the editor at the end of this month and ready for release mid-April. That's the plan, anyway.

I'm so excited about this book. It's about an artistic and talented young woman who lost her parents when she was a child. She's led a quiet, introspective life, immersed in her art. Now, years later, she finds out she has some very unique abilities. She's told she is a light rebel. Why didn't she know about these abilities before? Who stole them from her?

There's romance, lust, mystery, hot sex, humor, suspense and intrigue as Marissa Engles comes to grip with her power and her abilities. She learns to deal with sorcery, evil and darkness and to trust her instincts as she claims her own dangerous self in the process.
