Like a coiled snake, his arm shoots out. His hand grasping hold of mine.
"Deci, lăsați-l să se facă," he shouts, his gaze boring into mine.
Instantly, my hand jolts as though a burning brand has been thrust into my grip. I jerk free of his grasp and see a blackened circle of symbols burnt into the palm of my hand.
"Papa no!" Alexandra screams looking at us in horror.
"What the hell did you do to me?" I gasp looking back up at him in shock.
He looks at me with a glimmer of satisfaction in his eyes, a smug smile beginning to form on his lips.
"What do you think I have done, you fool? I have cursed you. Welcome to the end of your life."
