SEATTLE TIMES 4/14/2013
Ferrigno’s cast of characters, as always, is choice: A smooth-talking environmental terrorist who kidnaps a zillionaire’s daughter and hides her in a wilderness treehouse; two dopes he convinces to join him in the crime; and a rogue FBI agent with her own agenda.

But the kidnapped woman’s boyfriend is implacable in his mission to find her. Just as crucial is the fact that she turns out to be way more resourceful than her befuddled kidnappers expected. The result is a swift thriller and a wickedly funny satire of the more fuzzyheaded wing of the environmental movement.

Kat Warren Oh, I want that even if I had to pay more.

Robert Ferrigno Kat, those are the words that every writer longs to hear. Regardless, I think you'll enjoy the book and please do spread the word to anybody you think will enjoy a good, cheap (sigh) read. They can read the prologue at:

I'd hate somebody to buy a book they might not like

Chad Beaudin Nice move on the pricing Robert. I've only read your Assassin books. I have a reason to check out something else from you now.

Thanks.

Robert Ferrigno Thanks, Chad. Let me know what you think.

Kat Warren I LOVED the Assassin books!

Robert Ferrigno I still think about that world and those characters and wonder what they're up to. I did nothing else for seven years but work on the trilogy.

Nick Sotos The Assassin books were amazing and I recommend them to everyone I talk to about books. Robert, I was wondering did you start out with the idea of writing a triology or did it just evolve?

message 8: by Nick (new)

Nick Sotos Also, I have read a couple of your other books and while they are very different from the Assassin books, they were very good reads. I thoroughly enjoyed The Wake Up, great concept. In my travels, I now keep an eye out for someone who could a Wake Up. The Girl Who Cried Wolf reminded me of Carl Hiassen.

Robert Ferrigno I like the comparison, Nick. I started The Girl Who Cried Wolf while I was working on the Assassin series because I needed something to make me laugh. Hiassen is another writer who knows the value of a smile. thanks for the note.
