The Sea Wraithe by Ocean, has Surfaced!

The Sea Wraithe, my debut novel, an intense journey through nightmarish changes after the anti-hero, the world's first celebrity surfer, is held under a massive wave in a suring contest in Hawaii.

The title refers to the feminine form of the word, "wraith".

What, exactly, is a wraith?

Among various types of ghosts, a wraith is a specialized apparition, appearing, usually, to warn people of impending death or to inform them of other important events.
Portents, as the ancients called vital goings-on, were often delivered, via these spiris, usually related by blood (when they were corporeal) to the one being visited, were deemed so necessary to communicate, that wraiths would materialize on these occasions.
It is supposed that the relatives that come to visit loved ones when they are on their way out of this world do so in order to comfort them, to reassure them that there is, in fact, a sort of life after bodily death.

Yes, The Sea Wraithe has to do with, naturally, a haunting of sorts, with spiritual summonings, with shamanistic powers and with cosmic justice.

A romantic interlude with a most beautiful and enigmatic female occurs, and Wade, the surfer, becomes enchanted, and then, possessed with the need to be with her.

Through compelling days and nights, weird circumstances, and the degradation of his body and soul, the surfer finds answers to frightening questions.
