Chapter 15 and 16 Previews
The end is almost near. Serenity has gone through so much from her 14th birthday, up until she finally became legal. Will she start to wake up? Make better choices? Change for the better of her future? Or will Serenity decide to go against everything Charlene has been warning her of? Only time will tell what is meant to happen, and who will get hurt.
Chapter 15
Upon arrival at the hospital, Serenity was taken into an exam room. The doctor came in and cleaned her wounds. He stitched her up, and started an IV in her arm. Serenity lay there on the hospital bed, not saying a word. She was still high and mad at Radric. Her emotions were on full blast, and she had to get out of there. No sooner than the Dr. left the room, Serenity snatched the IV out of her arm. Blood splattered all over the floor, and she got off the bed. She crept towards the hall and ran full speed towards the exit.
********************************************
Serenity screamed and squirmed as the nurses strapped her down to the bed. Serenity looked around and realized there was no escape. There were two video cameras pointing directly down towards her, and the glass door locked from the outside.
Chapter 16
Charlene grabbed Serenity's hands and held them tight. She closed her eyes and began to pray.
Heavenly Father,
Touch Serenity and guide her. Bring her out of this darkness and out of this situation O'Lord. Lord hear Serenity's cry and comfort her, take away all of her pain O'Lord, and replace it with your love and happiness. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.
**********************************************
Radric walked into the apartment at 7am. He had been out all night doing who knows what. "Roll this blunt Serenity!" he ordered her. Serenity got up and began to roll the blunt, as Radric ate his breakfast tray. After she rolled the blunt she passed it to Radric, and he slid her the leftovers from his tray.
In a pissed off bitter mood, Radric began rumbling off about how he felt. "Bitch you ain't shit. You act like you can't do shit but make my life hell. Bitch, where ya son at? Why you ain't got no fucking money? Bitch, why you ain't got your own place? I'm glad my son ain't here with yo broke weak ass!" Radric rambled on. "Bitch you stupid. Get over here and get on your job so I can go to sleep".
*******************************************************************************
Serenity keeps falling deeper and deeper down the slippery slope. Will she manage to get it together and regain control over her life? Will Serenity be able to escape her sinful ways and move on to a brighter future? Or will she continue to toggle in the dark sins and ways of this world? Charlene never gives up and still prays for her daughter daily, but will Serenity finally catch her blessing?
