First Chapter Available

Greets all! For those who haven't been around for a James Potter book launch, the tradition is to release one chapter per day for the duration of the book (usually this lasts about a month).

The launch has officially begun! Head over to the James Potter website to read!

Alternatively, if you are one of those ravenous readers who cannot bear to wait a day between chapters, fear not: once the initial launch is complete, I will be releasing complete editions of the new book in most eReader formats. This version will include a new introduction and custom title.

However you choose to read, THANKS for your constant encouragement, and I look forward to your comments and critique.

Namitha Varma Great work, Mr. Lippert! I can't wait to read the whole book, but I'll definitely be patient enough to read one chapter a day.

The book's done! Check jamespotterseries.com for each chapter, or wait till Geo releases the whole book in a single PDF. :) There's going to be a next one, but not sure of the release date. Let's give Geo the well deserved break, eh? He just finished 800+ pages of Morrigan Web! :D

message 14: by Kris (new)

Kris Hirst Ok. Suppose he can have a week off. Now to twiddle the thumbs

message 15: by Amandacapeta (new)

Amandacapeta can't wait for the new book!

message 16: by Troy (new)

Troy Carter I really think you should do 7 books. You said yourself that book series' goes in 3's, 7's or umpteens.. and you've past the 3rd book.. Besides, there's 7 years in Hogwarts.. You just gotta go to 7. :)

message 17: by Vallyn (new)

Mo Cannot wait for the next book! You really seem to grasp the characters and make them your own, brilliant writing and an absolute pleasure to read

Mmking King GNL,
I JUST FREAKING LOVE YOUR WORK!!
I have read very single one of your novels and even short stories, and it's easy to say you are a great writer!

I have a huge request:

Have ever though of writing a fan-fiction novel about the first James Potter?
Just think about it James Potter, Lupin, Sirius Black, the freakin Marauders!
And about Snape and Lilly it would be so amazing, you are great writer GNL and I think this would be worthy of your great attention

message 20: by Professor (new)

Professor Paul GNL is superb, no doubt abt dat,, however mr. mmking, i hate his inability 2 promise any jp books. i hav a hunch dat he will write crimson thread and make me happy, but embarking on an entire newfanfic series!!! no way! i request u 2 take back your request and instead pray dat mr lippert writes 7 jp books. dat will b my greatest prize of all.

message 21: by Luvmeeh (new)

Luvmeeh I finished Morrigan's Web, and I must say that it was suspenseful and dramatic with great story telling. I won't lie...I cried...a lot.

I sincerely hope that with many coffee supporters, myself included, and with the encouragement of the readers that you will continue the series. Hopefully for the entirety of series as 7 total, but one at a time is great too.

Keep up the great, inspiring, and world turning books of James Potter!

message 22: by Kris (new)

Kris Hirst Hi, just wondering when the 5th one is ready for reading? Waiting with baited breath

message 23: by Josh (last edited Jul 09, 2014 10:07PM) (new)

Josh I CAN NOT WAIT for crimson thread!!!!
Sir your work is completely up to par with JKR! I don't even think she could have written this series as well as you have. Complete genius. Please continue. Please please please. You're the man, and thanks for all your hard work thus far

message 24: by Shubham (new)

Shubham Kailash Mr. lippert when are you deciding to release "the
Crimson Thread"?

message 25: by Maria (new)

Maria Dear Mr. Norman,

I don't want to sound like a total butt hole but.....Do you know how much your books cost? I went to amazon because apparently this is the only place to purchase The Girl On The Dock and James Potter and The Crimson Thread, and to my utter surprise I find it costs $30 to purchase each book! I don't mind having to pay for books because I know you or any author would like some sort of payback from what you do. However, I think $30 for a book of this nature is a bit much to pay. I read somewhere that the books are meant to be free but I don't mind paying just not $30 per book. The new Harper Lee book was not nearly as expensive!!!! Please help me here because I really do like your work.

~Your faithful reader
