“Available now” — music to my ears!

Hello, everyone — it’s almost impossible to believe, but Somewhere in France is on sale now, both in-store and online. It’s been a long road from the moment, nearly seven years ago, when I first dreamed of Lilly and her journey through the war, but at last I can share her story with all of you. Do let me know what you think of my book, and if you’d like a signed bookplate just send me an email (via the ‘contact’ link) with your name and mailing address and I’ll pop it in the post straight away. Many thanks for your interest in my work, and happy reading!

Fran Dear Ms. Robson,
I rarely write authors (if ever), but I really feel compelled to write you. Your book, Somewhere in France, moved me a great deal. The two main characters--Lilly and Robbie--came alive so vividly and their romance was so very touching. The whole story was very gripping and made the horrors of war all too clear (which was a good thing--don't misunderstand me).
One particular reason I am writing you is to ask you please to write a sequel about Lilly and Robbie-- how they do after the 1st glow of being home after the end of the war. I am sure they would have a lovely wedding and honeymoon, but how do they do when the realities of post-war life hit them? How do they manage whatever PTSD (as we now call it) they may have?
Are they able to adjust to civilian life? I have read that you are planning a novel about Charlotte and I am sure that will be very interesting, but you have made Lilly and Robbie come so alive, that I really want to know more about them (as the main characters) in another novel. Perhaps you could go back to them as the primary characters after you have finished the story about Charlotte. As you can, no doubt, tell the story of Lilly and Robbie has left a deep impression on me and I find myself quite sad to be finished sharing their own story forever. Thank you very much for writing such a compelling and sweet (in the
best sense of the word) story.
Sincerely,
Fran Tessmer

Jina Howell-Forbes Jennifer, I agree with Fran. You really must write a sequel. Robbie and Lilly are now friends of mine, and I long for a letter telling me what's new.

I want their story, but please have it center on adventures and dangers they experience together. I wouldn't want them to be separated.

John Henry Jennifer. My four published novels are featured on my Amazon Author's Page. Spent 2.8 years during the late 1950s stationed at the then US Army NASCOM headquarters in Verdun, France as a Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) officer/prosecutor overlooking the battlefields where some 750,000 men perished during the 18 months massive artillery slaughter known as WWI. My first novel - APO 123 - was based on those unique experiences. Looking forward to reading "Somewhere in France." Cheers! John Henry "Jack" Brebbia - jbrebbia@apo123productions.com
