RED SNOW

Hello,

This is Michael Slade. Starting today - February 9, 2014 - I'll be active on Goodreads.

The Sochi Winter Olympics are under way, and in a dark parallel universe, I wrote a thriller focused on all that can go wrong.

RED SNOW was e-published worldwide this week on all major platforms...

...and will be on sale for 99 cents from Wednesday, February 12 to 19, 2014.

I've been writing Mountie Noir thrillers for 30 years (14 paper books published by Penguin)...

...so if you're a potential new reader, or a "Sladist" who wants to introduce a friend to my fictional world at a topical time in current events, RED SNOW at under a dollar is a good place to begin.

All Slade novels fuse 5 crime sub-genres: softboiled, hardboiled, police procedure, thriller, and horror. For obvious reasons, I'm thrilled by this review that came in yesterday:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Text: I think I gulped this book rather than turned pages; it moved THAT fast! The definition of "page turner" is right here: "Red Snow." The single quality I appreciate most in horror is implacability, and here is a killer mastermind, admittedly a brilliant planner, who is, quite simply, unstoppable.

So, thank you, Anne-Marie.

I'll be back soon.

Slade
