Review of Transhuman Visions conference

A well-written and thorough review of the first Transhuman Visions conference last month in San Francisco by Brian Green at Jesuit-inspired Santa Clara University (the second conference happens tomorrow in Oakland where I'll be speaking): http://www.scu.edu/ethics/practicing/...

Nikki "The Crazie Betty" V. Wow this was so interesting! I appreciate the author's ability to straddle the line a little bit by understanding the possible moral and ethical implications of transhumanism alongside the benefits of more options for longer and healthier lives. I also found it interesting he stated he was both an enthusiast and a skeptic. It's going to be those kinds of mentalities that move us towards the future without losing those things that make us intrinsically human. Thank you for sharing!
