All the colors of the...what??

I made this banner for my (personal, private, real-last-name) Facebook page. One of these days (very soon) I'll get around to actually making an open FB author page, but I haven't had time yet and definitely won't have the time to maintain it with interesting posts until after June 1, when I'm writing full-time.

But in the meantime, I thought you guys would get a kick out of this.

C.P. Lesley Yes, I saw that. Had a bit of a chuckle. You mean Pocahontas didn't look like a brown Barbie? I'm crushed, L.M., just crushed. :-)

Love, love, love that cover, by the way.

Libbie Hawker (L.M. Ironside) I <3 my artist! I'm so glad I found him!!

Can't wait to actually get the cover itself all worked up with the typeface and all that. I've been thinking about which fonts to use...a thrilling internal monologue, for sure.

Iset Haha, you think about that too? I have a large number of imported free fonts on my computer that I mess around with when I make graphics - wallpapers, banners, icons, that sort of thing - and I do spend time thinking about the perfect font to go with the graphic.

Libbie Hawker (L.M. Ironside) Bwaaa!!! Yes, it's ridiculous. Whenever I have a little time to kill I browse free font sites and download the ones I like.

My excuse is that I make book covers for other people, not just myself, but really it just entertains me.
