5 Stars for The Rodeo of Doom by Miguel Lasala
The Rodeo of Doom is a fast paced in your face novel.
To set the scene, the year is 2384 and Henry is a professor at a local college. He isnt on his first career either as he has led several lives due to a drug called EP14. Years ago, the secret to the drug was unlocked but the secret died when one of his friends finally passed away. The drug was not only an age extender, but also a cure all for just about anything that ailed the body.
Now, with the last of the EP14 known to be in existence, he may live to be the oldest person ever. The trouble starts when a woman he is sleeping with passes out on college grounds. He pulls a vial from his pocket and she is miraculously healed. The problem was, someone saw him pour the fluid from the vial into the woman’s mouth. That’s when the rumors started, and word got back to the mob about what he possessed.
He is given an option to take a payoff for the EP14 and does just that, well mostly anyways.
This is where the action starts, and doesn’t stop again till the end of the book. Join Henry and his friends as the battle wits against the mob, try to get his stolen car back, and make pornographic movies.
If you want excitement, then you will find it here.
5 out of 5 Stars. A great read.
I would recommend this book to readers 18 and older due to some language and sexual content.
