Exciting news today: The Stanford Transhumanist Association has put together a debate between John Zerzan and myself, to be held at Stanford University on Saturday, Nov 15th at 7PM. Zerzan is a leading anti-technology philosopher, known broadly for his writings, ties to the Unabomber, and his role in the Seattle Riots. We'll be debating the benefits of technology (and transhumanism). The event will also have a networking component after the debate.
