HAPPY SPRING!

What's New?

Well, the first thing you have probably noticed is that we've given the blog a slight face lift.  We are also changing to posting the blog on a once every-other week, so as to not burden you needlessly.  With as many books that we want to put out this year, we felt it would be more productive to take the blog to every other week, giving us more time to work on our stories.

Now, what are we up to?  Alice is working hard on Up in a Blaze, Texas Vampire Rangers 3, while Lady V is working on Adorellan, Dragons of Dragonose 6.   Up in a Blaze is roughly half way done and Adorellan is about 1/3 of the way done.  We will also be starting our brand new BBW series, which is set to launch mid-June within next two weeks!  We are very excited about this one, but plan to keep it under tight wrap for the time being.  Trust us, this is far different than anything else we have written, but we predict that it will be a huge success!

Up in a Ball of Fire, Texas Vampire Ranger 4 (which will be the last book in this series) and My Beloved She-Wolf, My Beloved 2 have both been started also and we are working on those books as well when time allows.  So yes, we have a lot on our plate right now!

Now, for some really good news:  We have an official release date for Rubinmire, Dragons of Dragonose 5!!!  It will be releasing April 7th!  We should have more information to share with you regarding this release on our next news letter, including release party information, etc.

Rubinmire, Dragons of Dragonose 5  **Available on all platforms 4/7/15

No one was more surprised than King Thoran himself when he discovered fate had gifted him with a second mate in the middle of a rescue operation for kidnapped Dragonose women and children.  Nor did he expect her anger directed at him.What is a king to do when he rescues his queen only to have her despise him?  King Thoran had rescued Carmen along with all the other kidnapped Dragonose women and children.  Now back home, his castle is full to bursting with a make shift hospital, crying babies, scared women, and a pissed off mate.

Carmen refuses to allow for one second of sympathy towards the king.  Yes, he and his warriors did come save them, but what took so bloody long to begin with?  And his excuse of ‘he didn’t know’?  She just isn’t buying it.  Besides, she has to keep her cloak of anger pulled tight around her in order to cover up the real problem.

When Carmen finally succumbs to a foreign matter running through her blood, King Thoran rushes against time to save her.  His kingdom has already witnessed him losing one mate years ago, to suffer losing a second mate is inconceivable. 
But the Dragonose medical technology is put to the test as they rush against time to try and save her.  Will they be able to?  And can she look past her anger to see the real man her fated mate is?

Hello everyone, Walter from the Texas Vampire Rangers here with you today.  Been a long time since I've had the opportunity to speak with you, and wanted to personally thank everyone who voted for Up in Smoke, Texas Vampire Rangers 2 in the Double Decker Paranormal Book of the Year award!  

We are so happy to have achieved this award!  We couldn't have done it without all of the support from our fans and readers, and I just wanted to take the time to say a personal thank you!

All of our rangers are doing great, although things don't seem to be calming down for us to take some much needed R & R.  The writers are busy writing away, and I'm probably not supposed to, but I am going to let you in on a few secrets about Up in a Blaze, TVR-3.

First this story is about Donte.  He was introduced in book two, Up in Smoke, as the ranger that did art work on the side.  Remember?  He's the one that did a drawing of the rogue vamp that turned out to be Susan's ex-brother-in-law.  

And remember Betty?  She was originally introduced in A Special Gift, Vampires Among Us #2.  Her and her young son had been beaten severely by her then boy friend.  She is my mate Susan's sister.  Once Susan turned her in order to save her, we brought her back to Texas with us and she has been keeping a low profile.  Well, now Gregory has escaped from prison, and is hell bound to find her.  He starts with one of the few friends she had, Cassie, and pays her a visit.  

Something told me to send Donte to go get her and bring her to Texas so we could protect her also.  Call it what you like, but I just had a gut feeling.  (Grins)  Turns out i was right!

Oh, but that is just the beginning of the story, and things have been hoping ever since they arrived!  Once again we are forced to protect our women against an evil that is bigger than we originally anticipated.  

Okay, I can't give anything more away or that writer (Alice) will have my head!  I may be a vampire, but that is one woman even I don't want to cross!  Later guys & gals, and thanks again for helping us achieve such a wonderful award!

A Message from the Paws:  Shadow

Hi everyone!  It (finally) warmed up enough and the sun came out for my humans to take me for a walk around the neighborhood.  I strutted my stuff, especially when we went past my girl's house.  Haven't seen much of her lately, but her human told my humans that he is keeping her close to home the last few weeks because she is in heat.  Not sure what that means exactly, but boy did she smell good and I really wanted to go play with her, but the humans wouldn't give us a chance to get close.  We had to settle for her up on her porch, and me out in her front yard on a leash as we shared a few words while our humans chatted.

But when we got home they promised me starting next week they were going to start taking me to the park on nice days!  Yay!  I love going to the park!  I get to run and meet new people and dogs and have a blast!  I can't wait!

Oh, I almost forgot!  I overheard the humans talking about Easter coming up!  I remember that from last year.  They kept telling me some big bunny rabbit came while I was asleep (no, I don't believe that for a second..I'm on guard twenty-four seven!) but he hid a bunch of plastic eggs for me and when I found them they had some of my favorite treats in them. It was such fun!  Hope Easter hurries up and gets here, I'm ready for an Easter egg hunt!
