grieving

Must have my old crippled dog, Wiley Coyote, put to sleep today. Nothing too brilliant to say. I feel as if I've been gutted.
All I can do is quote Byron regarding the death of his beloved dog: "Near this Spot
are deposited the Remains of one
who possessed Beauty without Vanity,
Strength without Insolence,
Courage without Ferocity,
and all the virtues of Man without his Vices."

Rupert Dreyfus Sorry to hear about your sad loss, Raegan.

Hugs to you. I had to put my WalterDog to sleep just two months ago without much warning. I still grieve and will continue to do so for some time. There's truly nothing like the unconditional love of a beloved pet.
