قد تجدها مهملة قابعة في مكب النفايات شامخة رغم كل الاهتراء الذي لحقها: الكراسي في الأماكن العامة جذبتني منذ فترة لأنها بالنسبة لي الراوي الأول لقصص مستخدميها التي لم تروى. الكرسي مربوط في المجتمع العربي بأشياء كثيرة: بالمنصب، بالسلطة، بالمستوى المعيشي، بلحظات السمر وتجمعات الضحى، بالتسكع وطلب الرزق.
