February Release - Runaway Vampire

Book #23 in the Argeneau series, Runaway Vampire, is finally out!
Dante Notte is finally getting his story and of course it starts with a bang. Dante and Tomasso have gone missing but due to a lot of luck and little effort, Dante escapes. But he's naked, has no idea where he is and is being pursued by his kidnappers. And that's when Mary runs into him... literally...with her RV. Ouch!
Runaway Vampire

Other news...
We had a furry visitor for a few weeks. Terri was looking after a black lab named Dakota while her parents were in St. Vincent and we told her to bring her around. So the puppy pack grew by one for a couple of weeks, which meant even more fun and chaos than usual! LOL

I will be attending the annual Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in April, which will be in Las Vegas this year. Perhaps I'll see you there! :-)

Hugs,
Lynsay

Ashley Faith LOVED IT! Dante's so quiet and to the point, think he only raises his voice once or twice. Can't wait to read about Tomasso's fate!

message 4: by Shirl (new)

Shirl Can't wait to read this... Just might have to make a quick stop by the book store while I'm out today. So ready to read all their stories that I can't decide who I want to next, good thing I'm not making that decision... Lol... Love all your books!!! Keep up the good work and I'll keep up the reading...

Kathryn Szala I love all your books - the Vampire series has me laughing and talking about the books to my friend like they are real people! - You write about some Vampires in the books and I can hardly wait to see when you are going to get their stories out.

Hi Hope,
I do have plans for Santo but I still don't know when he'll get his story. The characters don't always cooperate so sometimes it's a bit of a waiting game. All I can say is when Santo decides to come out and play then he'll get his story. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later Hope because I think he's an interesting character as well. ;-)

Thank-you Kathryn! LOL
My characters are pretty real to me too. (And keep in mind that most of the characters are based, at least in part, on real people so they are real to an extent.)

every time i want to read something fun i pick up one of those stories and let me tell you it's not an easy feat in Egypt but i loved every single one of them.... let's hope it won't end and there will be more Argeneaus to read about

Janice I LUV this book,as I really enjoyed the budding "friendship?" between Mary and that infamous Lucian. If I'd made the mistake of calling Lucian, I'd ditch my cell phone on either a bus or the subway train and...get out of town.

Oh boy, Oh boy did I enjoy!!! I love just when I think I know what's going happen next and you turn around and surprise me.... I hope this series continues on for a very long time... Love the upbeat characters and she finally got someone who will show her what she has been missing out on for so long.... True love!

message 14: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn Szala Just finished reading Run Away Vampire this evening. Loved it - had me laughing about every couple chapters. I can not wait to see how Dante's twin is. Please let Mary's friend have a happy ending too- away from cheating Dave. Love that at 62 you can still find true love!

I was kinda hoping her friend would get together with Dante's twin but that would be too easy to see coming but maybe she will show back up in a later book when we aren't expecting it.... Nobody deserves to live like they did with cheating husband's.... So glad Mary had a second chance with someone so much better!!

message 16: by Janice (new)

Janice I giggled when I read in Runaway Vampire, that some of Lucian's Enforcers were on a case in San Antonio-- a city I love. But if I'd run into Lucian and/or his Enforcers, or...even his family...in San Antonio...in real life, I'd get on the first plane out, and it would not be to Toronto, howbeit, I love that city, too.

message 17: by Janice (new)

Janice Lucian and Marguerite are still two of my favorite characters. Of course I'd love to know more about Martine, as well as the Notte family.

message 18: by Janice (new)

Janice I liked Santos, as will as the rest of Christian's band., and Gia is such a fun heroine. I've wondered how she was related to the Nottes.

message 19: by Janice (new)

Janice Planing to re-read Runaway Vampire before I read Immortal Nights, also currently re-reading The Gift, in The Bite Before Christmas, for "Christmas in July".

message 20: by Janice (new)

Janice Just finished re-reading The Gift, in The Bite Before Christmas. Still love it! Also, I ...love... Raffaele and Zanipolo. What does Zanipolo mean?

message 21: by Janice (new)

Janice I loved Julian's parents, as they seem such gentle and compassion...human people. Who were Gia's parents? Gia's definitely one of my favorites.

message 22: by Janice (new)

Janice I hope that Santos, Raffaele, and Zanipolo has their own books, one day. I just, today, found out on the internet that Zanipolo means "little gift from God" similar to my own name. I love that character's name.

message 23: by Janice (new)

Janice I agree with Kathryn, as I find myself talking about the Immortals, as if they were real people....dreaming about them, too. Oh boy, but it's fun.

message 24: by Janice (new)

Janice Counting the weeks for Immortal Unchained, and the months for Immortally Yours.

message 25: by Janice (new)

Janice Loving Immortal Unchained.

message 26: by Janice (new)

Janice Almost finished Immortal Unchained...love it. Counting the months for Immortally Yours.

message 27: by Janice (new)

Janice Finished Immortal Unchained, Fri. Loved it, and loved seeing fiesty Jo, again.

message 28: by Joann (new)

Joann Can't wait to get my hands on that book.

message 29: by Janice (new)

Janice Loads of fun, and quite funny in parts.
