THE END

I tripped over a piece of rock, I knew the end was nearing. I could see the water breaking through the buildings, swallowing up every piece of land as it advanced forward.

I quickly got to my feet. This was my last chance to tell her that I loved her. I dived into the boat and rowed into the river like there was no tomorrow. (Well, there definitely was no tomorrow)

I quickly got to the other side. She was right there, like an angel, dressed in my favourite white, completely oblivious of the fact that this was the end.

My heart kicked me. It was now or never ever. She looked at me innocently with those piercing eyes that asked me a million questions.

'Listen, I don't care about what your parents think.' I said. 'I know you love me. Your eyes - I can hear them scream out your feelings for me. I love you.'

Her eyes welled up. She dug her head into my chest and wept, her black kajal painted her answer on my white shirt, which just turned out to be my favourite white shirt.

I held her softly by her delicate cheeks. A few strands of her hair fell on her face. I gently glided them and placed them behind her ears.

She looked divine. Those were the best moments of my life and probably my last.

There was a sudden sound of thunder. I turned around, clutching her hand tightly.

- And then I woke up. It was raining outside and the thunder was killing. :)
