Hey, Look, a Blog

I haven't blogged here in awhile. I feel silly writing duplicate blogs here and blogspot, and then I forget to write new blogs here. But I'm writing one now. So there.

I am really digging this new layout thing at Goodreads. They've made a few adjustments lately, and I like them very much.

Here's what I'm up to: I'm not releasing a new book until April at the soonest, and it makes me feel like a lazy bones. But there's just too much going on, and releasing a book is a lot of work.

The book I will be releasing next is Lost Without You . It's about a teenage girl who goes missing and her friends' frantic attempts to find her. That's a really simple description, and I hope to come up with something better soon.

I should be putting out a sample chapter and a cover for it next month. Then maybe start getting out ARCs by the end of March. Maybe?

Right now, I'm writing a book called Wake. It's part of a new series, but I'm not going to say much about it, other than that it's YA, and I'm working on it. I should have more information on that later on.

As soon as I finish up Wake, I will be starting the sequel to Hollowland. The tentative working title I'm playing around with in my head is Hollowmen. That's not official, though. It's only tentative.

And this summer, I hope to get started on the final book in the My Blood Approves series, which at this point, is still untitled.

So that's some updates on some things I'm working on. And there you have it.

The end.

Lindsay Guth You are everything that is good and right about YA fiction. As a 20+ year reader of that genre I feel as though I can say that with some authority. Thanks for all the wonderful hours of entertainment, and I'm looking forward to everything coming out soon.

message 26: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Hackler You are easily one of my favorite authors, very possibly my absolute fave. It is funny, when I finish one of your books, I cannot wait to read the next, then when I finish the series, I am so sad that it ended. Your characters and method of writing are so encompassing that you feel included and a part of what is going on, like war room planning and feeling left out of wedding plans... it is all so involved I guess... Keep it up, please dont stop what you are amazing at. And please dont break up Jack and Alice... In MBA... they are amazing!
