Only people who have read Facade will get this but I'll throw in some background information.
Characters in Facade - Emma, the protagonist, had just graduated from high school and had to figure out a lot of things. There was Stella, her bestie; Adam, her *coughs*; and who can forget Mr. Larry, yikes!

Now book two, Janus (pronounced JAY-Nus) still has Emma trying to figure out a lot of things with more 'crazy' characters. There is Brian, the handsome dude whose cologne could use some diluting. Reddy, the heartthrob with a suave attitude and a tendency to use big words, which can be annoying. Preeti, 'the walking hot temper, who is beautiful and has a breathy way of speaking that lets out a 'whoosh' of air when she uses words with digraphs...and many more interesting people.
