You are right, Sheryl. I have a family too, and it cost me a lot to have to make time to write, and all too often I missed out on family gatherings because of my desire to write. Fortunately I woke up and now write at work during my lunch hour. Sometimes at home when my family is out, but I've learned to never miss out on gatherings because they're more important than my desire to write. Of course, I have a lot more peace of mind with 3 books available, but it came at a good cost. And yes, the more you write the better you get. Keep on writing.
