Emilio Arguello I completely agree with this. John talking about OCD was a way for him to communicate his own struggles with his mental illness, and as somebody who struggles with OCD as well it was amazing seeing something that seems impossible to communicate be expressed into words so effectively. I completely loved Turtles All The Way Down and it is my favorite out of John’s collection, it was so extremely personal and full of humor that I enjoyed. I still cannot stop thinking about some of the quotes in the book. John’s references to art and spirals, the way romance served as a sub-plot instead of the main thing. It was beautiful reading a book that talked about mental illness because it made me feel understood.

Hayley Maloney I agree this book was not necessarily the best based on story line or overall character development but the realism of the struggles that Aza went through
