I dont think it matters, although you'll understand alex and carlos alot better if you read the others first, but if you read them in reverse...i guess you would just be expanding the knowledge of the third book

I read the second one first. Though there are certain things that left me clueless, it didn't really faze me. But if you can get to it, then read it in order. If you can't and you're okay with feeling like a clueless blonde at times (and not a lot), then go for it.

Good idea, because in the third one, everything ties up-you'd be even more clueless if you didn't read the others first.

Yer that's why I'll read the second one first, I don't want to be confused throughout the whole book, but really want the second do I can finish the series!

read the second before the third b/c the third will make more sense and will spoil the second book if you dont read it first.
