You said they weren't intense enough, and that some parts were silly and boring. But, Anthony, were you looking to be entertained? They may be fictional novels, but they are still meant to inform. If they didn't inform, then I'm quite certain they would be utterly useless.

and what is it with rayford or whatever his name is... the dad i mean... his wife has just disappeared and what is one of the first thing he ups and does? well you guessed it... find another woman to cohabitate with. and what happens to his second or was it third wife when they get to heaven... why she or (them) become just a passing thought!!! I mean gimme a break!!! All hell has broken loose the world is literally going to hell in a hand basket and you are telling me - he couldn't keep his privates in his pants for a couple of months?!?!?!?
