Yes. I did wonder about the dengue. One of my acquaintance died of dengue hemorrhagic when she was given the best medical care possible. yet TJ healed on his own with his obviously malnourished body? but aside these facts, i liked the book pretty well.
I've had dengue, but fortunately not the hemorrhagic variety. It would have presented as life threatening in their circumstances (minus the internal bleeding) but not nearly as deadly. I only felt like I was dying, LOL, and breakbone is an accurately descriptive alternative name
I did wonder about the toiletries lasting so long myself!
