Carro Ah, right. In the author text at the end she explains she was supposed to writing a sequel to SH but on a car journey listened to a programme on perfumery and got diverted. So far it's the only one of hers I've read, just started the seventh bride. Suspect I will be be having a T Kingfisher summer.

Scott Thanks to both of you. After loving Lois' recommendation of Ben Aaronovitch, I was quite interested in checking out Kingfisher. Just bought SH and PG on Kindle to have something to read while I await my late purchased arrival of Patricia Briggs' latest (she's also a fan, BTW). I'm really looking forward to these as I can use some humor during the Covid Craziness.

Carro I have to keep adjusting my brain perception on Covid, especially your phrase Covid Craziness, to avoid reading it as Corvid Craziness - definitely a fantasy title. :D

Scott That's a good one and I don't even remember where I know the name Corvid from. ;-)

John Prigent Corvids are birds that scavenge battlefields when there's any killing around - Ravens included as well as rooks, crows etc.

Scott D'oh! Yes, I did know that. Ah, the ravages of isolation and middle age. They say the brain is the second thing to go.
